About Us
My name is Ethan Raskind and before I moved to Connecticut, I lived in Colorado for 16 years. During that time, I fished all over the state and guided in the Vail Valley for 5 years. I now have been living and guiding in this area of Connecticut for 7 years. One of the popular questions I get when on a guide trip is “Why did I ever leave Colorado?” I always answer that question the same way – why else, a woman…….. By the way, I am still happily married with 2 kids!
Bottom line is I love to fish, it’s a sickness and it is great. I fly fish, spin fish, freshwater, saltwater, brackish, wherever they swim. I enjoy fishing in my area for trout and bass, will hit the ocean and drift for fluke, fly rod stripers and blues, troll for tuna, chum for shark and will always have a blast catching panfish with my kids. I very much enjoy guiding and love being on the water. I am a patient guide with beginners, will fine tune novices and will fish you experts as hard as you want.
